on top of everything

It all started thanks to a BBC news article a couple of years ago on the long established Craig's list website. A website featuring lists I noted to myself. And I imagined what the site might feature. As you may have worked out for yourself, my image of that site was somewhat off!

I did a bit of research to see if my idea had been done before. And yes, I was not suprised to see that it had. Numerous times. However none of the sites had quite the design that I had pictured and so I thought I'd give it a go. Whilst working on the site it has been tempting to increase scope dramatically - there are so many things that could be done in this area. But I kept coming back to the conclusion that there is little point trying to compete with the bigger established sites of this nature.

So here it is: wistop.com! A site allowing people to put up their own distinct lists and for others to comment and vote on the favourites. No more, no less!
